I love antique furniture and there is nothing more perfect to me, than mixing antique pieces with architectural salvaged items. Old chipped wood, rusted iron and tarnished silver may seem “imperfect” to some, but for me, it’s what I look for when buying pieces for my home. I love the aged, time worn look.
Each individual piece has it’s own history and when brought together, the carved details, elegant curves and beautiful appliques create the perfect blend of warmth, interest and elegance.
Etsy is an amazing resource to find beautiful pieces to create your perfect cottage.

I love the pics of the picture frames. Antique picture frames are one of my weaknesses. It has become an obsession for me to restore them and do different faux finishes. Lots of fun!

ReplyDeleteLove the silver tray ...Of course I would love the silver tray You can only see them posted on my site as well, they are a favorite of mine and so many inspirational uses for them. I love one of mine on the nightstand next to the bed with a lamp and silver framed snap shots with little treasures displayed for the moment right on top of the tray, a special treasured space.
